Database Reactivation Campaigns: Printing Money on Demand

You are sitting on a goldmine. Your list of 'old' leads is worth thousands. Here is the script to reactivate them.

In 60 Seconds

Reactivation 101
  • The Asset: Your list of past customers (and leads who never bought) is your most valuable asset.
  • The Reality: Most businesses ignore them until they call. This is passive failure.
  • The Strategy: Send a hyper-simple '9-word email' or SMS to the list with an irresistible offer.
  • The Offer: Don't just say 'We are checking in.' Say 'We have 5 openings for AC Tune-ups at $49 this week. Want one?'
  • The Result: Immediate cash injection. We often see $10k+ in booked revenue from a single SMS blast.

If you need $10,000 this week, you don't need new ads. You need to talk to the people who already know you.

Database Reactivation is the art of waking up the dead.

The Psychology of the "Nudge"

People are busy. They meant to call you for that service. They forgot. When you text them, you aren't annoying them. You are reminding them. "Oh right! I need to fix that."

The Script: Keep It Simple

Do not send a fancy HTML newsletter. It looks like marketing. Send a text that looks like a friend sent it.

The "Dean Jackson" 9-Word Email:

Subject: [Name]

"Are you still looking to get your [Roof] fixed?"

The SMS Offer:

"Hey [Name], it's Max from Max Plumbing. We have an opening tomorrow afternoon for a $49 water heater flush (normally $149). Want me to save it for you?"

Who to Target

  1. Dead Leads: People who quoted 6 months ago but didn't buy. "Are you still looking?"
  2. Past Customers: People who bought 1 year ago. "Time for your annual checkup."
  3. Cross-Sell: People who bought X but not Y. "You got the AC tuneup... how about the water heater?"

Handling the Response

Warning: This works too well. If you text 1,000 people, you might get 100 replies in 10 minutes. Ensure you have Automation Architecture in place to handle the replies, or your office manager will quit.

[!WARNING] SMS Compliance Only text people who have opted in. Ensure you include "Reply STOP to unsubscribe." Don't burn your list. Do this quarterly, not weekly.
